LINKIN PARK

Linkin Park é uma banda de rock dos Estados Unidos formada em 1996 em Agoura Hills, Califórnia. Desde a sua formação, a banda já vendeu mais de 52 milhões de álbuns e ganhou dois Grammy Awards. Eles tiveram o sucesso alcançado em 2000, com o seu álbum de estreia, Hybrid Theory, que foi certificado pela RIAA como disco de diamante em 2005. O álbum seguinte, Meteora, continuou o sucesso da banda, com o topo no gráfico de álbuns Billboard 200 em 2003, e foi seguido por um extenso trabalho de caridades e de turnês em todo o mundo. Em 2003, Linkin Park foi nomeada pela MTV2 a sexta maior banda da era de videoclipes e a terceira melhor do novo milénio atrás de Oasis e Coldplay.

O terceiro álbum de estúdio, Minutes to Midnight, atingiu o topo das paradas da Billboard e teve a terceira melhor estréia na semana de qualquer outro álbum e foi o disco mais vendido no mundo em 2007. O trabalho mais recente da banda, A Thousand Suns, foi lançado oficialmente em 14 de setembro de 2010, e se tornou lider de vendas em mais de quinze países. Eles também são conhecidos por suas várias colaborações, mais notavelmente com o rapper Jay-Z no seu álbum Collision Course, e muitos outros artistas em Reanimation.
