Blind Guardian

BLIND GUARDIAN

Blind Guardian é uma banda de power metal formada em meados da década de 1980 em Krefeld, na Alemanha. Antes de adotarem o nome Blind Guardian, os músicos da formação original lançaram duas demos com o nome Lucifer's Heritage, em 1985 e 1986. Os membros da banda são: Hansi Kürsch como vocalista, André Olbrich e Marcus Siepen são os guitarristas e na bateria Frederik Ehmke. A banda geralmente busca inspiração para suas músicas na cultura medieval, nas mitologias nórdica e grega e nas obras de J. R. R. Tolkien.

Deep Purple

DEEP PURPLE

Deep Purple é uma banda de rock inglesa formada em Hertford, Hertfordshire, em 1968. Juntamente com Black Sabbath e Led Zeppelin é considerada uma das pioneiras do heavy metal e do hard rock moderno, embora alguns de seus membros tenham tentado não se categorizar como apenas um destes gêneros. A banda também incorporou elementos de música clássica, blues-rock, pop e rock progressivo. Foram listados pelo Livro Guiness dos Recordes "como a banda mais alta do mundo", e venderam mais de 100 milhões de álbuns ao redor do mundo.

A banda passou por diversas mudanças de formação, além de um hiato de oito anos (1976-84). As formações do período 1968-76 foram comumente chamadas de Mark I, II, III e IV. Sua segunda formação, a mais bem-sucedida comercialmente, contou com Ian Gillan (vocal), Ritchie Blackmore (guitarra), Jon Lord (teclado), Roger Glover (baixo) e Ian Paice (bateria).^[5] Esta formação esteve em atividade de 1969 a 1973, e foi reunida de 1984 a 1989 e, brevemente, em 1993, antes que as rixas entre Blackmore e os outros membros da banda se tornassem intransponíveis. A formação atual inclui o guitarrista Steve Morse; com o afastamento de Lord, em 2002, conta apenas com Paice como membro original.

SEX PISTOLS

Os Sex Pistols são uma célebre banda inglesa de punk rock, formada em Londres, no ano de 1975. Embora não tenham sido a primeira banda de punk do país, foram influentes por trazer o movimento punk do Reino Unido para a atenção mundial, e inspiraram diversos artistas posteriores de punk e rock alternativo. Sua carreira durou apenas dois anos e meio, e produziu apenas quatro singles e um álbum de estúdio, Never Mind the Bollocks, Here's the Sex Pistols.

A banda era composta originalmente pelo vocalista Johnny Rotten, o guitarrista Steve Jones, o baterista Paul Cook e o baixista Glen Matlock. Matlock foi substituído por Sid Vicious no início de 1977. Sob a condução do empresário Malcolm McLaren, a banda criou controvérsias que cativaram a Grã-Bretanha; seus shows frequentemente eram fonte de problemas para organizadores e autoridades, e suas aparições públicas quase sempre terminavam em confusões. O single de 1977, "God Save the Queen", que atacava o conformismo social e a subsmissão à Coroa da sociedade britânica, precipitou a "última e maior epidemia de pandemônio moral com base no pop".
